The very first release from The Unknown (and Jiffi Pop Records 001) with the lineup of Ken Blaze on vocals, Wayne Roscoe on drums, Mike Vaughn on guitar and Peter Ahn on bass. Contains classic Unknown songs "Stay," "My Kind," and the Stiff Little Fingers' cover, "Barbed Wire Love." Released in January of 1993, the band was immediately compared to the Descendents, the Fastbacks and the Undertones. Later, after years of the tape being out of print, Boss Tuneage in London re-released the original 10 songs, 1 song from the Seems So Real 7" and 4 live tracks on one CD. 3 of the live tracks are songs the band never recorded in studio. "This album-length cassette (CD) announces the arrival of a great new power pop combo from that great rock n roll city, Cleveland. These guys write wonderfully catchy tunes delivered without a trace of camp or condescension - they just like to rock. A few funky tunes updat the sound for that crowd, but its their talent for inspired bubblegum that gets the nod from me. Cool cover of Stiff Little Fingers' "Barbed Wire Love" too." - Jersey Beat #50 Winter 1993.
